Reality is about to test your theory. The money producing states have been hit hard. Tax revenues will be down at all levels, so they’ll be less for poor states.That is to say, states like NY, CA and CT will no longer be supporting states like Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi.

I am with you. Local is always cheaper than sending dollars for redistribution and spending to some federal agency which spends 70% of tax dollars on self-maintenance. Durasell, as usual you have it backwards.
