Which Pastor Manning? Is he talking about the racist who called Obama’s mother trash because she had sex with an African?
I like Pastor Manning. I don’t believe Obama is trash for what his parents did, I don’t believe Obama’s mama was trash for going with a black guy, but I do like Pastor Manning.
If the Manning we’re discussing here is Pastor James David Manning, he should not be promoted on this site or given any credence or support by conservatives, especially those of us who are Christians. His previous statements show he’s a racist and is either insane or unchristian.
Racist:
1. He declared Obama to be “a pimp” because of the Obama girl video, and repeatedly referred to the fact that the girl is white, as if it somehow made things much worse. Never mind that the video was not made by Obama or anyone associated with him.
2. He’s referred to Obama as “trash” because his mother is a white woman. In fact, he referred to Obama’s mom as a “trashy white woman” and said Obama’s father was “a-whoring” when he married her.

3. In a message quoted on the Limbaugh show (see below) he made an issue of Obama giving money to white businesses during his campaign, and said blacks who had supported or interviewed Obama without getting cash had “given it up for free.”

I think Obama’s a scumbag, but Manning represents the Lord and conservatism like I represent the Jedi Council. Sometimes the enemy of my enemy is a steaming bag of crap.

He’s racist because he believes Obama is a lesser being because his mom is white. He’s racist (or at least race baiting) because he makes as big a deal of the Obama girl’s color as he makes of her shaking her goods around.

George Lopez’s sitcom is a riot, but he did crowd warmups at Obama events. Maybe Rush Limbaugh should make him his cohost and sit nodding at his wisdom.

OK, OK, you’re right about his excesses. I guess I was hoping to hear more straight talk from Obama’s actual opponents.
