Thanks Rummy, the search yielded as an active SS#. I suppose it could depend on the database. I’m sure there was an effort to get them all updated with the potentially bogus death in 1995, but as we can see, there is something more going on here.

Actually, Stanley Dunham existed. Last time I saw her (which was the first time) she was at a party being held by A. Schmidgall-Tellings. The attendees were mostly associated with anti-Sukarno forces in Indonesia. Plenty of former Dutch colonial bureaucrats, etc.

There's really no reason to doubt she existed. At the same time I would expect the CIA front story for her probably can't withstand stiff internet scrutiny.

There is something very weird here and this is not tin foil hat stuff. The grandmother worked for a normal bank and they were middle class. What the hell were they doing involved with the Ford Foundation which is pretty left wing?

Old man Ford probably turns over in his grave about how the Foundation is operated. This is normal with foundations like this unless they have very specific bylaws etc. They usually become very left wing.
