Thank you, Gemsbok. Good essay.

"So_real" adds an important comment, too.:

This election is the precedent-setter. This election strips from us the Constitutional protection against foreign despots. It opens Pandora's Box for elections to follow. We'll have "anchor babies" from foreign despots crawling out of the woodwork for elections to come, each funded for office by the nation of their fathers.

Ping.

“DO you know that Odinga, whom YOUR ‘messiah’ campaigned for, had his minions riot and kill and loot and burn until he was given a high position in a ‘shared’ government after he LOST the election?”

What is your point? The Constitution has nothing to say about Obama’s relationship to Odinga. I guess you just have to live with it.

” This election strips from us the Constitutional protection against foreign despots. It opens Pandora’s Box for elections to follow.”

Hunker down, folks.
It is not over until on or after January 8, 2009. That will be the time for our elected politicians to adhere to their oaths and rise and defend the US Constitution.

If you have not yet, see my About page.

Born in Kenya?

The only live witnesses to attest to his birth are his Kenyan relatives at this time.

On that basis he would be dually disqualified!

And actually, Fidel Castro does have an estranged daughter living in exile in Miami, Florida.

He also know Fidel has at least three handsome young sons (Fidel, Antonio, & Alejando) who have a different family last name other than Castro!

To appease our current democrat candidate, we have left the barn door wide open!

Actually the founders did not have very much trouble with the Natural Born Citizen requirement, unlike some of the people around here who would rather throw the Constitution out the window than see if Obama qualifies for the job.

I just thought you might be astute enough to pick on the parallel tactics the cousins used. My bad.

He = We... also know Fidel Castro has at least three handsome young sons (Fidel, Antonio, & Alejando) who have a different family last name other than Castro!

Who knows, with the way American leftists and young Commies have flocked to Cuba for vacations during lax administrations, there could be several aspiring traitors in our midst! The CIA periodically busts Cuban spies in the USA. One would have to be naive to believe that all Cuban Fidelists are confined to his crumbed and decrepit little Island.

I may be tilting at windmills, but I don’t think this is over, yet.

There are still a number of suits in various stages of progress, and there are still a few million of us wanting to know the truth.

Seems to me it would be a very simple thing to produce a valid Birth Certificate, and produce a passport. Shucks, I’ve got both of ‘em, and they didn’t cost a hundred dollars to get both. This nutcase (BHO) has spent probably tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands to keep his hushed up.

Daddy always said if you see smoke, there’s very likely a fire, somewhere. Very appropriate to this ballet of brash arrogance.

Because we Americans do not hold the child responsible for the sins of the father, at least not when it comes to the Constitutional qualification to be President.

No "sin" is in question, only a familial allegiance to a foreign power. And, actually, we Americans did protect against such foreign influence. From 1776 up until the 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, these children would not have even been considered "citizens" in any form of the word (let alone eligible as natural-born citizens for POTUS). Naturalization was required for citizenship. And even after that, from 1868 up until the Supreme Court decision in Wong Kim Ark in 1898, thirty years later, denial of citizenship was arguably common. That's a 122 years of precedent requiring naturalization of these youths. Following Wong Kim Ark, for the last 110 years, these youths were irrefutably recognized as "citizens of the United States", but no claim to a natural-allegiance to this nation was granted in that decision. Ergo, despite the opinions and desires of some, citizen by virtue of birth on U.S. soil does not equate historically or legally to a natural-born status. It's a safety-vest I would not casually toss aside, and I hope the Supreme Court would not as well.

This idiot woman was on our local radio station this morning, bloviating about new rules for credit card companies. She explained they would not be allowed to jack up interest or be discriminatory in other ways.
She must have missed recent developments in the credit world...

Okay, so your basic argument is that if it wasn't for the pesky Constitution (as amended), Barrack Obama wouldn't qualify for the Presidency? You're kind of 150 years late with that argument, don't you think? Seems like, as a nation, we've accepted that anyone born on US soil (other than diplomats etc.) qualifies for the Presidency for the majority of this nation's existence.

Following Wong Kim Ark, for the last 110 years, these youths were irrefutably recognized as "citizens of the United States", but no claim to a natural-allegiance to this nation was granted in that decision.

US law only recognizes two classes of citizen: naturalized (who cannot serve as President) and natural-born (who can). There is no third category of citizen from birth, but not natural-born. With a few rare exceptions, anyone born on US soil is a natural-born citizen, regardless of their parents' status.

In the spirit of pure Capitalism and American sell-outs, someone could advertise a business attracting foreign American-haters.

Picture for yourself, post-cards of smiling American girls with swollen bellies.
The caption reads, for X amount of dinero, plant your country or terrorism group’s chance at a future American presidency!

Sadly, we Americans may have short memories...But our enemies do not.
Just as they harbor their tribal hatred and resentments for centuries, they have the patience to cultivate and wait decades for their machinations to bear fruit. Islam especially is a goal-oriented religion that measures its successful global domination with both short term and long term goals. Decades are certainly short-term from their perspective.

They can marry, breed, infiltrate governments, terrorize civilians or declare war. Any combinations of the plan are deemed acceptable and have been historically successful.

ODINGA, yes it does ring a bell.

As a Senator, he successfully raised 1 million American dollars for cousin Odinga ‘s election and flew to Kenya to campaign for him!

List of Known Foreign entanglements and involvements:

1. Kenyan dad
2. Kenyan birth
3. Campaign for Kenyans
4. Raise American dollars for Kenyan politicians
5. Solicit & Accept near 2 hundred million dollars in foreign campaign $$$
6. Jot about the globe, campaigning as ‘citizen of the world’ (Berlin)

Standing mute, without his hand covering his heart, instead of honoring our flag, doesn’t support the concept of complete an unwavering American allegiance.

So if America becomes embroiled in a serious conflict involving Kenya or Indonesia, where does he stand?

After 9-11-01,
When it came time to invade Afghanistan, what if First Lady Barbara Bush (GWB’s mother) had been an Afghani citizen or still possessed dual-citizenship with Afghanistan? Wouldn’t the President’s allegiance been possibly conflicted?

There was a nazi plan for the nazi leaders grandsons to rule the world.

Everyone wants to be a world leader, we need more worlds.

He was not born of US citizens and that IS a disqualifier.

Not if he was born in Hawaii it isn't.

Why are you so quick and eager to forfeit the reins of the Presidency and the Republic at this point in time.

It is not a matter of political parties or affiliation.

We all know that a Democrat Congress will choose another leftist to fill the opening, but at least it will be a qualified American.

The qualifications will remain intact, and that is essential.

I'm not eager to see Barrack Obama in the White House. But, the American people have elected him to that position. That gives me heartburn, but it's reality. In my opinion, he will be a disastrous President, but there is no evidence to show that, Constitutionally, he is unqualified for the office.
