Everyone is assuming Blagojevich is Fitzgerald’s prime target. I suspect that may have been the case until others (among them Emanuel) began showing up on the tapes. I suspect Fitzgerald has now entered into a “target rich environment”.
I don’t believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny or Fitzgerald’s integrity. If he were honest he would have indicted Armitage in the Valerie Plame fiasco, he would not have halted the investigation of Blagojevich before a crime was committed and he would not have drawn up his criminal complaint in a way that conceals every connection with Obama, his new boss

Isn’t Fitzgerald the king of the perjury trap? A notch in his holster kind of guy?
When investigating the Plame case he never once said if revealing her name publicly was illegal. That should always be the first step; find the law that was broken, then look for the bad guys.
