Here's the Nov. 17 letter, which sounds like another form letter:

The November 17, 2008, letter signed by Jarrett and Podesta, meanwhile, states:

"On behalf President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden we want you to know of our strong interest in working with you in the months to come. As you may know we have formed a Presidential Transition Team so that the new Administration will be prepared to confront the extraordinary challenges facing our country.
