I just freepmailed you an entire article from the New York Times.
Figured it would be the best place to look for Bush criticism. LOL

Lots of money spent, but remember the short time for planning due to the endless Florida recounts!
Lots of events were cancelled, but the light shows and fireworks around the memorials, in DC, on the water and in VA were the best I have ever seen.

Would be better to look at 2005. After several years of proclaiming the economy a wreak with people starving and unable to get jobs, the recent tsunami killing tens of thousands, and other "suffering" in the world, the left found it inappropriate for Pres. Bush to have a normal inauguration and that others holding private events should cancel them. It just wouldn't be right to spend money like that and have a good time when there as so much suffering in the world.
I have yet to find a single editorial, news story, or any kind of report of anyone suggesting that Obama and his supporters should scale back because of the poor economy and suffering.
And I don't think I ever will.
