According to the Financial Times, a Super Bowl type audience is expected to tune in to coverage of the Inauguration of Barack Obama tomorrow.
To mark this occasion, we are proud to announce the release of a new commercial that will be airing all day tomorrow in select markets on Black Entertainment Television. Our newest ad is just the beginning of a year-long campaign that will include a series of commercials for use on the web and on broadcast TV.
Check out our new ad here www.CatholicVote.org
I dont want to spoil the surprise, so be sure to check out our new ad, and then tell your friends about it. After watching the short commercial, I hope you will appreciate our purpose. The message of CatholicVote.org is universal and transcends candidates and political parties. Even in difficult times, the truth about the dignity of every human life must be proclaimed.
We at CatholicVote.org had hoped that the first African-American president would be pro-life. Sadly, thats not the case. While we urge you to pray earnestly for his conversion on abortion, were not going to waste this historic opportunity to witness to life.
Our newest ad seeks to both educate and inspire the same elements that helped make our election season film the most-watched political ad on the Internet during the 2008 presidential campaign.
Finally, I suspect there will be a lot of talk about hope in the next couple of days. The purpose of our multiple-commercial campaign is to creatively reach new people who dont always agree with us about the amazing gift of every human life. Simply put, abortion is the enemy of hope.
Website Update
Were building a bigger and better web presence for 2009.
In time for our first commercial, weve launched some initial changes. In the coming months well add much more to the site.
In addition to the first ad, the new site already has an online discussion forum where our members can discuss our commercials and other hot topics in the news.
Also, we will be moving our website from CatholicVote.com over to CatholicVote.org. (Dont worry, if you visit the .com address, you will be redirected to the .org address automatically).
It seems like such a simple move, so why are we doing it?
After we launched CatholicVote, we heard from many Baptists, Evangelicals, Lutherans and other Christians who werent Catholic. They loved our mission and our message. They agreed with us that its not enough to have the right ideas; you have to reach peoples hearts and communicate with people with new and imaginative ways. Yet some people mistakenly think our site is only for Catholics.
Thats why were excited to announce that we have acquired the web address, ChristianVote.org.
So to eliminate .com and .org confusion, we want everyone to know we are both CatholicVote.org and ChristianVote.org.
For the most part, though, the two websites will act in harmony with each other.
After all, on the issues of life, faith, and family we can work together. We must work together.
Sincerely,
Brian Burch
P.S. Were not naïve about our new Presidents policies on life. But people of Christ must remain people of hope. And given the political climate, we have to find new ways to provoke the consciences of our leaders and fellow Americans. Our new ad campaign is designed to do just that.
Please send our new ad to everyone you know. At a time when the fight to build a Culture of Life may seem dark, we are determined to let the truth shine even brighter.

WOW!! Think of all those who could have made the world a better place, cured cancer, etc. Powerful.
Call me terrible, but if and when Obama screws the country over, this ad is going to be seen as an argument FOR abortion.
“His single mother struggled to raise him.”
Not for long. Actually, his father AND his mother abandoned him, and he appears to have been mentored by a series of Communists, terrorists, and pederasts.
Also, it’s rather ironic that this very baby hopes to be responsible for the murder of millions upon millions of babies.
Wow! what an ad!
They could make the same video about Dr. Benjamin Carson, an award-winning, innovative, highly talented, world-respected Afro-American Neurosurgeon with 51 honorary doctorates.

Not only is he PRO-LIFE, he is also a CREATIONIST.
I must be missing something.
video doesn’t work for me.
Kudos to these folks again. Powerful and simple. God does know what he is doing. Indeed.
Hopefully the website has something against FOCA on it, encouraging people to contact their legislators.
Wow! I didn’t think that Kenyan Hospital had a sonogram in 1961 when Obama was born!
