This is sickening. Truly it is. The fix was sooo in for this election. I guess we all knew it going in, but still hoped for the best. There’s got to be a LOT of housecleaning in our party.

You'd think the RNC would press for criminal charges against this person, and Couric/cbs for obviously conspiring with this person to make Palin look bad. Plenty of evidence on the cutting room floor, effectively altering Palins responses to give them an entirely different meaning, which they immediately began attacking her on, even though they knew damn well they fabricated it.
If this person was working for Obama campaign, which Obama claims HE ran every aspect of; wouldn't that be grounds for impeachment and other criminal charges?
I don't think I could hate McCain more than I do right now, though I'm sure he'll find yet another way to make it happen. Why would anyone want to be a member of today's republican party?

It doesn’t matter who hired her. A friend of mine has a newphew who was a Democrat and a speech writer. He wrote speeches for the President Bush the elder. It would have been ideal if this witch was on the same page as Gov. Palin. She wasn’t. Wallace is probably one of those femnists who look down on women who have a family and a career.

If McPain couldn’t even keep this Leftist mole off his campaign staff, he certainly shouldn’t have been in charge of Homeland Security, and it’s a blessing he lost. He may have appointed Wallace as head of the CIA.
Sarah Palin is a relative newcomer and was untested on the national scene. This meant she was, in the minds of most Americans, a blank page which could easily be defined and written upon by vicious bloggers, and easily demeaned by leftist media types. The guy probably pushed for McCain to pick her for VP... knowing all of that very well.
What he didn't know is just how effective she would be to wake up the conservative base, which had largely been sleeping. This must have been terribly alarming... somebody had to push the panic button. The first guy that pushed it was Chuck Schumer... openly advocating an actual bank run. The Fannie Mae inspired financial crisis didn't happen overnight... it was a problem that built up over several years. Why did it have to bust right before an election? Why all the alarmist crying foul all of a sudden? I can be very cynical, but I think this was the second panic button pushed... the crisis had to happen NOW, before the election. Palin's appearance at the RNC convention was electric and McCain regained the lead in polls.
That didn't mean McCain was necessarily going to win.. but it was enough to threaten the Congressional elections. That had to be stopped.
I agree with Coulter, she needs to stay in Alaska and be a good governor, then maybe the senate then possibly a run as president.
It was obvious that she wasnt prepared for the the big leagues. That doesnt mean she isnt a good conservative and great candidate for office, just not the oval office in 2012
