I think it would be wrong for the coach to cheat the other team out of the lesson they learned by losing 100-0. Forget about what message it would send to his own girls... that’s bad enough. You play sports 100% and I don’t think that the basketball court is an appropriate place to have equality-of-outcome liberalism rear its ugly head

“I think it would be wrong for the coach to cheat the other team out of the lesson they learned by losing 100-0.”

Please detail the lessons learned by losing 100-0 that wouldn’t be learned by losing, say, 70-0. I breathlessly await your insights. I’m not talking here about missing shots on purpose or letting the other team shoot unopposed.

“You play sports 100% and I don’t think that the basketball court is an appropriate place to have equality-of-outcome liberalism rear its ugly head.”

So I guess you would disagree with sending in subs when the game has been decided? I mean, after all, that would lower the score some.

Running up the score is not sportsmanship, period...

Play 100% every down for the players but the coach should have been calling different sets.
