I understand what you mean....but most people would call him black...and that is all that ultimately matters.
You give his lie credibility and support by supporting it. If you believe his father is Barack Obama Senior, then he is only 6.25 percent Native African, which is the definition used for black. His father is from the Omani Arabs that migrated to East Africa.
No, what matters is that he calls himself black. That point was made when a much blacker than Barry colleage asked "why do you say he's Black", trying to make a point about people with very small fractions of African ancestry being legally "Negro" or "Colored" in the old South. I answered, "because he calls himself Black". He admitted it was so and was what counted.
Of course in reality, he's only geneticaly African-American. By upbringing he's mostly White with bit of Indonesian mixed in.
