This is a stupid attempt to micromanage the life of us slaves in many ways. First, there are already hundreds of millions of phones out there. Second, it's a feature that will be easy to disable or muffle. Third, there are times when it is legitimate to want to take a picture quietly (say you are hiding in a closet with a cracked door, trying to send a pic to police of an intruder in your home.)

Why not prosecute the actual illegal activities that harm people, instead of trying to micromanage us so we can't do anything that _might_ be bad?
