"This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format:

"Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?

"A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

"Q. Where will the government get this money?

"A. From taxpayers.

"Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?

"A. Only a smidgen.

"Q. What is the purpose of this payment?

"A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, more clothes, stereos, DVD's, CD's, or GPS for your car thus stimulating the economy.

"Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China or Malaysia or Indonesia and Japan ? "A. Shut up."

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:

If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China or Malaysia or Indonesia or Taiwan .

If you spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs or Venezuelans or Canadiens.

If you purchase a computer it will go to India or Malaysia or Indonesia .

If you purrchase a calculator, the money will go to Mexico, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico , Honduras , and Guatemala (unless you buy organic).

If you buy a car it will go to Japan or Korea or Germany .

If you purchase a motorcycle, it will go to Japan, Germany, England or Italy while Harley Davidson lays people off because you dont want to be seen riding a Harley because people will think less of you and besides, who can afford a $30,000 motorcycle anyways?

If you purchase a Boeing aircraft with Pratt & Whitney engines, you will get an airframe partly made in China, Engines 80% made in Poland and China, avionics made in China, England and Germany, seats made in Malaysia and India and Mexico, drafted and designed from India and China, flown on jet fuel produced in Arab lands or Venezuela.

If you purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan, Mexico, Philipppines, Sri Lanka, China, Guatemala .

And none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America . You can keep the money in America by spending it at yard sales, going to a baseball game, or spend it on cigarettes, beer (domestic ONLY), or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still in the US.

Because the only other product made in America that we would use is something from a service industry to improve your house; like new storm windows made in Mexico, or a new door made in Panama, or a sink made in China.

You can, however, revive the one, true domestic industry that the United States has always made the best products in their field: Guns. And American Ammo wont ruin your weapon.

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. WINSTON CHURCHILL

:) Isn’t it infuriating how we must state the obvious to the oblivious?

I swear, all this is intentional

we did not get into a crisis like this by accident

The Dems planned this, pushed things in motion, and then abused the ‘crisis’ with their powers in office and now they are going to use it to completely change our Constitution

Wouldn’t it be something if 90% of Americans getting checks would spend it on guns & ammo? That would send a sobering (to say the least) message to the government that you risk getting overthrown. An armed people is the distinct enemy of the Socialists.

Pay down debt, or save it. Those are really about the only responsible things to do with it at this point.

And it still does no good because the Dim Dhims and “liberals” (socialists, communists, fifth columnists, et al, and America haters) don’t believe you, pay any attention or care anyway.

I agree, Race. And if Obiwancanobi stimulates me, I’m going to get all excited. I think I’ll re-decorate an ammo room.

When/if one arrives at our house, that is exactly what we are going to do. We ara buying a Mossberg 590, along with an additional rifled slug barrel(home defense and deer hunting), a 9mm (undecided about manufacturer), and registration and CCW license for the missus. She wants one, just because she can. I may get one, too. I have decided that if I am going to carry a loaded weapon, I will carry it openly, thus my indecision.

Great post. You beat me to it. The purchase of a nice 38 or 45 to defend the rest of our rights from the criminals in Washington...that’s the ticket.

America is dead and gone. The last election was the exclamation point. What used to be America is now a land mass populated by cretins and parasites who have absolutely no respect for the military and who vote for big government to confiscate money from their neighbors and "redistribute" it to them. It is not an America worth defending anymore.

I suggest everybody take a crash course on how to game the system and grab every government penny they can lay their hands before the usual parasites gobble everything up. Remember, the parasites now outnumber the hosts in this country, 53% to 47%, so don’t delay.

How to spend your "stimulus check"? Here's a good place to start:

Cool. I need more smokes anyway. I will take it and go to Alabama and buy smokes and deprive Gov Bredesen in Tennessee the confiscatory taxes he put on cigarettes. While in Alabama I will eat at their eateries, too.

The one line I will take issue with is the comment on Boeing. The hottest selling aircraft in the world, the single aisle 737 is largely built from US parts. It may not be all Boeing parts, but the overwhelming majority of the airplane is from the U.S. manufacturers. Less so on the larger twin aisle aircraft with large section of fuselages shipped from Japan. But still even with the numerous over seas suppliers, a hit on Boeing is a huge hit on the economy. Many thousands of Americans draw a Boeing paycheck, and many thousands more Americans draw a paycheck from their company because of Boeing.

And Boeing is still the #1 exporter of of finished goods in the country. The money from those sales come back to the U.S.

Guns have to be registered so they know who has them and where to go to get them when they get ready to take them. It would be nice if there was some way around this.

Well now I am totally depressed. LOL If the government gave me 2K of my money back I would buy a car. It would be a Chevy. I have had several. They are dependable. My ‘04 has 183K and still runs like a top. So THERE!

NEW 737’s or refurbished?

Boeing opened up a new line in China last year, did it not?

Maybe not all airframe stuff, but a huge line for airframe production

It was 10 years ago that Pratt people complained that 20% of all civilian work was done overseas, now it is literally 80% of all Civilian AND Military engine work is overseas

If Obamanazi tried to stimulate the economy through defense spending, there will no way be the economic response that FDR had, not in any way, shape or form

Sadly, your Chevy is 40% or so made in Canada and MExico?

Only Honda and Subaru are made almost entirely here
