Yieks. What a story. Why are they throwing that in Sessions face? First of all it was a different time and second he was a Republican with a Republican President. I think this is unfair especially coming from Fox News.

I wish Jeff Sessions was President. Why oh why can’t we have a good president? We keep getting idiots for the presidency.

While the basic point is fine, this is the trap the libs are counting on—”I voted for overspending before, so now I have to overspend forever in order to be consistent.”

Sessions should just explain his change in position. No big deal. Or live with the idea that there are a lot of smug folks out there who will repeat this kind of thing at every barbecue from now on.

I watched FNS this morning and didn’t see my Senator. Did I doze off?

More left wing spew... Sessions and the others are recovering spenders... at least they can admit when they are wrong

Your point about hypocrisy is well-taken, and it extends to the voters, including the devotees of this site.

I recall the passionate defenses here of Tom DeLay for paying considerable sums from his campaign fund to his daughter for catering, and to his wife as his "political consultant".

As long as Congressmen vote "right" on social issues, people here and generally give them a pass on their personal avarice.

Yeah, just go ahead and go after Sessions. Let’s destroy and undermine him, okay? One of the few remaining Senators with working brain parts and principles, such as believing that defense spending is in a different category from family planning and Acorn subsidies. Whiff of Ron Paul nutjob here, and at the “site.”

How timely. Jeff Sessions makes sense, so they go after him. If it had not been for Jeff Sessions tirelessly going after Bush’s amnesty spending LOUDLY, we’d be a LOT further in debt.

Sessions is one of the few in government who is trying to save this disaster from happening.
