You can’t be serious. Myspace is a serious issue? Please, if you’re a 10th as smart as your boasts would have everyone believe you’d know better.

Melas - intelligent people understand that they are supposed to protect their children and putting one’s children’s photos on a MS page along with sexual come-ons while seeking relationships is dangerous at the most and just plain foolish in the least. I am dead serious.

Many years ago a beautiful boy in Florida went to an event for children where they had a kite contest or maybe it was just kite-flying in general. One of the local papers snapped the kid’s pic. Well, some pedophile had been recently released from jail due to overcrowding, saw the boy’s picture - he had the kid’s photo and his name. I remember scant details except the important part about how he abducted the boy and murdered him.

Smart parents know not to put their kids’ names on the back of their book bags, so why you think it’s just peachy keen to have children’s photos smeared all over a website that millions of people can see with even more details than name is beyond my ken. Meanwhile, I do think MySpace has some serious problems... and that’s why they, to their credit, got rid of 90,000 pedophiles. And that’s just the ones they KNEW about. I’m sure there are more. Child pornography is not a billions of dollars a year business because there is nobody out there buying the stuff. So, live in your little dream world.

I don’t believe it takes a village to raise a child, but the whole village needs to at least give a darn about all of our children...
