I wrote Specter last night. He is up for re-election next year and will go into the Philly labor union bosses back pocket to get their. I voted for Toomey in the PA primary in 2004. Bush and Santorum sided with Specter and he squeaked it out. I guess he didn't learn. Conservatives abandoned Rick because of it and they no doubt will do the same this time. I hope Pat Toomey is paying attention.

Obama openly promised to side with the Islamics if the winds of public opinion blew against them. Obama promised to negotiate unconditionally with the abject, openly avowed enemies of this nation. Obama promised to undo all that Bush had done on abortion restriction and make the FOCA (Frredom of Choice Act - which will remove virtually all federal restrictions on abortion for the entire pregnancy), Obama promised to restore federal funding for international abortions, Obama promised to work with congress and pass through more gun restrictions (AWB, TAx on Ammo, etc.).

Now he is going about doing all of that, very quickly, and more.

We must stand as citizens against this rampant and blatant move towards marxism and unmittigated disaster in our nation. We must calmly go about educating others using reason, level headedness and common sense, we must build a spine in all GOP senators particularly so that they will absolutely fear, immediately for their political lives, we must establish a strong beach head in 2010 to stem and contain the damage, and thenn march on to total victory in 2012.

My latest e-mail to Arlen Specter

Dear Senator Specter

I wrote you a letter 2 days ago to encourage you to hold the line on this spending monstrosity that is up for a vote in the US Senate. It seems that I am not the only voter in PA with similar concerned as you acknowledge in your comments on the Senate Floor last night. However I am dismayed with the bulk of your comments and your determination to “do something” . This is truly reckless and a grave disregard for the taxpayers money during a recession. This will only make matters worse and will shackle our kids and grandkids for years with debt. It will cause monetary inflation which more harmful than a recession. You should remember this very thing as you were in the Senate during the late seventies.

Be aware of this: If you vote for this reckless sham I will demand that you go the way of Rick Santorum for selling out the Conservative voters. If Bob Casey was a pro-choice Democrat Rick might have had a chance. But I know a lot of conservatives would rather vote Democratic than vote to re-instate a Senator who repeatedly sells them out. You did it on the impeachment of Bill Clinton, and you are about to do it again. If you are going to side against your party we conservatives WILL work to defeat you in the primary and will not show up in the general election if you are the Republican nominee. You yourself know this is an unpopular vote. I doubt 1 year will be enough time for the voters to forget.

John McCain was on a roll until mid-september when he started grandstanding and sold out the voters with The TARP bill. You would be wise to heed that and vote NO on this bill. We will be watching and we will remember. Hold the line, vote NO.
