Chrissy Matthews could never be Ginger Rogers. In addition to the obvious reason why, the talented and beautiful late actress/dancer was a patriotic American, staunch pro-capitalist/anti-communist, and lifelong conservative Republican who was part of the Hollywood-for-Dewey Committee as early as 1944. Kind of an anti-Susan Sarandon. Miss Rogers’ politics couldn’t have been more different than Matthews.
