That surname is infamous in Ohio history to say the least.

1. We had the "Copperhead" Democrat from Dayton. He was convicted of sedition and shipped to Tennessee during the Civil War. He later fatally shot himself, trying to prove how a man had fatally shot himself.

2. There was also the Lucasville Prison CO who was tragically murdered during the prison riot / takeover of 1993.
