The ever-growing threat to free speech -- the attack on talk radio -- is alarming. Now we learn that the Socialist Left is coming after internet radio too. Our passage into a gathering night of uncertainty.
U.S. Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean today were freed from prison, but subject to a media black out. Why? Both agents are on house arrest and prohibited from talking to the media until March 20th. Again I ask, why? No one seems to have an answer. And more curiously, the mainstream media is not reporting on their release. No mention of it in the major newspapers. Why?
I'll tell you. God forbid the story take up Obama's thunder on the front page of the NYTimes -- a big day for the signing on the Socialist bill that will nail us to the collectivist floor. Talk about selective and biased news reporting.
We've got a lot of ground to cover tonight on my radio program, The Andrea Shea King Show. Join the conversation. The phones will be open -- 646-478-4604.
Link to the internet stream here. We pound the ground at 9 p.m. ET.
See you there.
Last night we spoke with one of the four TN State representatives about the lawsuit they're bringing against Obama, demanding he produce proof of his birth as a natural born citizen of the USA. Also joining us was attorney Orly Taitz, who is representing the four plaintiffs. Listen to the show at the same link as above or by copying and pasting into your browser:

Great idea! Every time it’s mentioned it should be the Fairness Doctrine aka the censorship doctrine. I’m sure most Americans don’t even know what this is or they think it’s some talk radio nonsense. They need to know!

We need to find a way to get the message out with out using a state controlled medium. Airwaves are good, and talk radio (when Rush wasn't carrying the water for the RINO’s)* worked well. But it is a old media type of thing. Most younger folks do not listen to talk radio.
Study strategy, not tactics. The Fairness Doctrine can hinder, but there are other modes of communication. Look at Ron Paul's campaign.
* Rush admitted that after the 2006 election. He said in a way he was glad, as this meant he no longer had to "Carry the water for those I don't agree with".

I have always wondered why conservative talk radio has become the target of the leftist socialist movement in this country.
Didn't the so called "Fairness Doctrine" require that both political views ( of course in reality there are many more) on a subject needed to be expressed?
If so, isn't that what talk radio is all about? Aren't the wide variety of callers from all points of view from the political spectrum a representation of those same views. In general, doesn't that make most of conservative talk radio some of the most fair and most balanced radio shows out there?

Among the unintended consequences that history highlights for us is that censorship brings the real radical rhetoric to the surface and gives it voice. Guess what happens after that.

The liberal concept of "fairness" requires that NO conservative talk be on radio. Only "liberal" talk radio is "fair". Liberals can't tolerate ANY dissent. Their ideas won't hold up under scrutiny, thus the only alternative is total suppression of any dissent.

Completely over reaching with these trial balloons.
It is nonsense, but the folks who are coming up with these feints, ought nought to be forgotten. They are true scum. Knowing it will not happen and yet feeling “safe” in their positions to espouse this garbage.
Still it is nerve wracking enough.

Hannity is already calling it the CENSORSHIP DOCTRINE.
We need to get behind this. A pig is a pig- no lipstick is warranted.
