That's an impressive painting. Wow! Sadly few Americans have heard of the White Rose. I know I didn't until someone recommended seeing the Sophie Scholl movie. I was so moved by that movie, that I did allot of time studying her and the White Rose. Heroes of mine, all.

There is also a movie called “The White Rose” made in the 80’s. It covers a larger time frame & it is excellent. They were heroes -they knew they were going to get caught but they did not want the world to think that all Germans were Nazis. That there were some good Germans that fought against them. Did you see Valkyrie?
