In 2007 there were 1,200 executions world wide, 552 of those were carried out in Muslim Countries in the Middle East.
Being an executioner in those countries is a "honored position" Maybe that's why they take the time to educate their children. Just like many of us they like to take their kids to work:

After we returned, he went to school, and all his friends gathered around him. He said to them: I saw how the hand of a thief was chopped off, and so on. The school principal called to thank me for explaining this to my son, who, in turn, explained it to the other students. This way they learned that a thief gets his hand chopped off.
How splendid! Along with having an absolutely brutal system, they take their children to watch. In many countries, bringing along a child to watch someone have their hands cut off or decapitated is considered child abuse, but at least in Saudi Arabia and Egypt it is considered a fun education. If memory serves, they executed 43 after the Mecca Riots in 1983. They carried them all over the Kingdom, so every one could share in the entertainment and education.
