750 round case of Brown Bear 7.62x39 for $160 OTD and a case of Privi Patisian 7.62x51N for $706 OTD. Got the privi because it is reloadable, but I can’t find primers right now...

I got lucky and hit Walmart when they just got a new shipment and go Remington 9 MM for less than $11.00 per box and Blazer .45 for less than $15.00 per box.

You hit the jackpot. Just reloaded 100 rds. of .380 JHP over the weekend. Fortunately, bought the bullets and brass well before all of this tension arose. Just had to horsetrade for the pistol powder and primers with someone who need something else I had. Feeling really fortunate. Wal-Mart shelves are really empty here of almost all ammo. Lots of shotgun shells still for sale. I think the shotgun shells are right at $50 for a 10-box case.

Able Ammo? LOL. They’re completely sold out of ALL .380 ammunition.

Wal-mart (when I can find it very infrequently) 9mm luger Winchester 50 rnd for $10.97 or $19.97 for 100 rnd. 22 long rifle at Wal-Mart brick of 550 Federal for $13.47, brick of 550 Remington for $16.97

Been having a little better luck finding Monarch 9mm 50 luger rnds for $10.49 at Academy Sports lately. Some stores have gone to limiting customers to 2 - 3 boxes of ammo so some yahoo doesn't comes in and buy up the whole shipment as soon as it's stocked.

I ordered from Able's Ammo last fall, right before The Chosen One was chosen for us at the polls.

I don't know what their inventory looks like right now, but back then, they had great prices on 1600fps shotgun shells [Federal slugs & Hornady buckshot].

Of course, from what I hear, the USA is also completely sold out of 590A1 [militarized] Mossbergs, so I guess the early bird got the worm...

It seems .380 and .38/357 are the real hard calibers to find right now. I have not been able to find any .380 in over a month.

That's a heck of a good deal.

Where is this?

We had a gunshow in Frederick MD this past weekend and there was very little ammo to be had.
The local Walmarts usually run out of the more popular calibers within a day and in most cases a few hours after they put them on the shelf.
They have pretty good prices on 9mm, .380, .40 and .45 when it’s available. Same with .223, 30.06 and .308. Most popular shotgun shells go just as fast.

Strange times we live in.

The gun show in Houston at George Brown from the guy that runs the table for Military Gun Supply out of Fort Worth. He normally makes the Down Town (G. Brown) and the Relient Center shows but not the Pasadena Shows...

The Privi came from Ammunitiontogo.com’s table at the show...

I think the big question should be asked of the ammo makers is whether they are increasing their production infrastructure. This is a critical question, because ammo production equipment is not cheap, and if they are willing to do this, their estimation is that the high demand will continue for quite a while.

The question is also straightforward, because I would be shocked if they are not already at 100% production, three shifts, 24/7. I imagine that they are also pretty testy, because when you have retailers like Wal-Mart making demands on you, you know it from the bite marks.
