9 mm at $20 + sounds high. Sportsman Guide seemed to have ammo in stock. Ammoman was out of a lot. I have not checked on Cheaper Than Dirt.

Any other web suggestions?

I got luck and hit Walmart when they just got a new shipment and go Remington 9 MM for less than $11.00 per box and Blazer .45 for less than $15.00 per box.

In the Peoples Republic of Minnesota,
for .223/5.56mm mostly Wolf or Golden Bear or variations thereof, avg box of 20 FMJ goes for 8.99. I know one place for 7.49 for same box.

What I like about them is that if it’s on their website, they have it in stock and you’ll get it. Half the time the others don’t know they are low and you place an order then receive one box and they hit you with shipping that is as much as the ammo.

Several Walmarts I looked at in FL had gotten shipments of .40S&W Blazer Brass for $12 a box.

All I see on our shelves up here in Alaska is big game rifle cartridges and surprisingly a lot of .500SW. Pricewise its all the same, actually shotshells are uber abundant and are going at sale prices.

Components are non existent, zero powders for rifle or pistol some shotshell powders, plenty of shotshell primers.

I have some shotshell reloading equipment and I think its time to take these shells abit more serious, I am going to stockpile some 209M primers tomorrow.

I reload and managed to get a bunch of powder, bullets, and primers several months ago. The shelves are empty in the local reloading sections.
I placed another large order 4 months ago and am being told it will be shipped within 2 weeks.
The handgun cases at the gun shops are also pretty empty. If it is small enough to carry on a CCW it is sold out.

Cabela's had Fiocci 7.62 X 39 at $12.00 for 20. There was no .380 available at all. I noticed 200 rnds of .223 at $90.

I invested in gold; I should have invested (more) in lead
