You might add the late Congressman Samuel Dickstein (D-NY) to that list. He was on the payroll of the Soviet NKVD and was actually one of those that founded the House Committee on Un-American Activities (although his purpose was to weed out the Nazi competition). Nobody found out about his treachery until the 1990s, 50 years after he retired from the House to a NY judgeship.

Vito Marcantonio has been dead for 55 years. Another communist elected to the NYC City Council was Peter V. Cacchione. He has been dead for 63 years.

There are some hard core leftists in the US Congress, but mixing in liberals and calling them Communists sort of defeats the purpose.

IMO this involves Pelosi and her trip to the Middle East against the Bush Administration's advice in 2007. Pelosi should have been arrested immediately after landing on US soil.
