National security adviser downplays N. Korea threat
Nothing that the North Koreans did surprised us, Jones said. We knew that they were going to do this, they said so, so no reason not to believe them. But the Obama administration is in a tough position with regards to North Korea and in the coming weeks administration officials will try to reach a global consensus on how to handle North Korea, Jones indicated.

I am no fan of Oboma, but...could he be pulling Kim’s chain.
Kim wants attention, but not this type of attention.
Just a thought.

I am not worried. After all, we are safer now under Obama. I read it in the news!
Being “under” Clinton, however, has been a danger to quite a few.

Fascinating obama strategy.
Eliminate threats by denying they exist.
No more war on terror (just challenges), no more terrorism (just man-caused disaster), and now, no threat from North Korea. While raising US forces on peninsula to DEFCON 2? Or are “DEFCONs” now passe?

That’s why Obama is delusional and dangerous.

When a pitbull has rabies, you calm it down by ignoring it... or saying, well, that’s just a pitbull with rabies doing what we expect! Move along folks!
To “ignore” or downplay this guy, they would have to assume Chia is sane or under the positive control of someone else who is. And that no one will make a miscalculation.

When Kim gets to the end of his chain, long as it is, what then? Lesser, albeit unpleasant, actions not taken only lead to the unavoidability of more drastic and much more unpleasant actions such as all-out war—that lesson apparently still not learned

I believe it was Churchhill who said "consensus is a lack of leadership" Is that ever true with these people.

OK....since NKorea told them what they were going to do, and they had no reason not to believe them.......Does that mean that they believe Iran when they say they will wipe Israel off the map?

Good point, I think China is scared silly about NK imploding and sending millions of starving hoards across the border, as they have trouble feeding their own hoards. With the world watching, they would be in a very bad light not aiding those people.
