Let’s all keep pretending around here that the biggest threat to our future and freedom is the GOP. Well, in case you haven't noticed, they're not exactly helping our cause now are they. No need to pretend at all, it's for all to see.

They are doing the best they can, in a minority position.

It seems that the community consensus here is that there are too many RINOs. My view is that there are too few Republicans of ANY ideological stripe. You're kidding yourself if you think that a conservative bloc of at most 30% of the electorate can constitute a governing majority. We need "moderates" in the Party or conservates will achieve 0% of our principled conservative priorities. That's just the way the world works whether we like it or not.
There's too much energy spent dwelling on how Pubbie office holders differ with our individual priorities rather than those areas where our priorities are in concert. JMO.
