I can believe it. A couple weeks ago I was accosted by an “apparently homeless” guy at a gas station. He asked for money so he could pay for his cell phone bill... Needless to say I turned him down flatly.

They can afford cell phones because the government pays for all the other stuff. I could afford a Blackberry if I didn’t have to buy groceries or pay rent!
