President Barack Obama voiced shock and outrage this evening over the slaying of a Wichita, Kan., abortion-provider, Dr. George Tiller.
Tiller, who remained one of the nation's few providers of late-term abortions despite decades of protests and attacks, had been several years shot before. This time, the shooting as he served as an usher at his church today was fatal.
"I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning,'' Obama said in a statement issued by the White House this evening.

I’ve long wondered what it would take to get the normally unflappable and unemotional Obama angry and emotional. Now I know: the murder of a serial baby butcher.
Shrug. It was a 271st trimester abortion. The question should be, had Dr. Tiller survived the attack, would 0bama support his getting medical treatment?
Tiller was getting to be a problem for the pro-aborts. He was an ugly face on an ugly practice, and was getting slowly put out of business by legal means. Bad attention was being focused on Tiller, and support for life was on the uptick.
Now the guy is gunned down in cold blood IN CHURCH. Instant martyr. Ugly face becomes victim face. Pro-lifers get associated with the bombers and other killers.
