East Indians have the highest family income of any ethnic group in the US. As I stated in my earlier post, they are doing quite well here, and have nothing to fear save for a few dumb fools who sit in Paddy's Tavern b-tching about "the dots" passing him economically or (even worse) gang bangers robbing Indian-owned stores. Such are minor trifles compared to the success enjoyed by Indian immigrants (and their children) in the United States.

Read the article, however, and you will see that hatred (and resentment) toward Indians as a "middleman minority" in the mideast and Asia is VERY serious. I had a friend who's older brother was stomped to death by a black mob in Guyana during an anti-Indian riot/pogrom in said country. Same has been true of the Chinese diaspora in SE Asia as well.

The Muslim hatred towards East Indians is well known. That stems from the 1200 years Islam has been warring with India, with only limited success.

To Islam, Indians are the lowest form of life, the lowest infidel.
As for Asia, much of the disregard for Indians is also concentrated among the Muslim population, most notably the pacific rim Asian countries.

That would be the Koreans, not the Hindians. True, there are probably five times as many Hindians as Koreans but the 500,000 or so Koreans earn more per capita than any other group.
