cronos..

:) couldn’t stop smiling when i read your posts..
whatever bomb blasts/religious or communal riots happens in india, the root is in South city.. the accomplice is from South. so, it is not just north at the edge of the sword, actually it is in the south.. and for your information when india got it’s independence in 1947 (the day britishers left), south is still under the ruling of NIZAM ( a muslim) who is not willing to leave his seat and unite the state in India, after so many fights and the pressure from the central government, this south has been released after few years.. that is the reason why our state formation day is different from our independence day where all the rest of the states don’t have it.. If nobody is against to him or fight against him and lose thousands of lives, that nizam might have united our state into Pakistan..

So, i now i have a doubt whether i lived in rural southern indian village for 25years of my life or CRONOS lived.. sorry to say this, but ten times if we lie, 11th time it won’t become a truth.. a lie is always a lie..

Dude, READ what did I say?

Hindu rulers ruled in most of the south until recently, while the north had to suffer the traumas of Muslim invasions. Islam in the south came peacefully, in the north it came at the edge of the sword

It talks about the history of India (you have read this, right?). You replied something completely incomprehensible.:

whatever bomb blasts/religious or communal riots happens in india, the root is in South city.. the accomplice is from South. so, it is not just north at the edge of the sword, actually it is in the south

Duuhhhh..... Did you know that Islam came to Kerala spread by Arab traders and it came peacefully? Did you know that in the north of India it came by the sword, right from Mahmud Ghazni onwards? Hence the difference in the cultures of north and south. You mix the present with history. Sheesh

and for your information when india got it’s independence in 1947 (the day britishers left), south is still under the ruling of NIZAM ( a muslim) who is not willing to leave his seat and unite the state in India

There is a present and a past tense -- you've mixed both up. When the English left India in 1947, there were 300 odd princely states, the Nizams little spot in Hyderabad was just one of them. all the princes were figureheads kept in place by the brits. The Nizam only ruled over the central part of what is now parts of Karnatak, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Kerala -the rest of the south had other rulers, like the Rajahs of TRavancore and the direclty ruled British provinces of the Madras Presidency etc.

that is the reason why our state formation day is different from our independence day where all the rest of the states don’t have it..

A LITTLE knowledge about your own history would help. in 1960, the states were re-organized linguistically. This had NOTHING to do with the Nizam who ruled over a polyglot kingdom that included Tulu, Telugu, Kannada and some Malayalam speakers, plus also many Urdu speakers. Your southern 4 states were built on linguistic lines, divided amongst Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada speakers.

Finally, THAT STATEMENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY POINT THAT NORTH INDIA HAD MORE MUSLIM INVASIONS AND MORE RECENT THAN THE SOUTH! The South was safeguarded by this for centuries by the Vijayanagar Empire and then by the Marathas after that. It never experienced the same islamic trauma the north experienced, hence the culture and attitude towards islam is also different. Capische? Comprende? The attitude towards Muslims in Kerala differs from the attitude towards them in Gujarat. Even the Muslims in Kerala don't have the same mannerisms, attitude as Muslims in say UP
