I'm not agreeing with the Moonbats - BUT - as far as I'm concerned Macy's can kiss my a$$ and go out of business tomorrow.
What they did and their attitude in doing it when they bought out Marshall Field's in the Chicago Metro Area. And especially to the Field's flagship store on State Street (that Great Street) in the Chicago Loop. Macy's management acted like the Soviets in the take over of the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia) and didn't give a 'carp' what lifetime (generational actually) Field's shoppers had to say.
The result was a loss of tens of thousands of loyal Marshall Field's customers.
So Macy's can go to hades. They can run gay porn movies on their in-store TV's for all I care. Annnnnd
they can take their 'Red Star'
commie logo and stick it where the sun don't shine.

(The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits)
Same here. I used to love the Rich's department store in Savannah, Georgia but since Macy's bought them out there's nothing there I need or want. The first year it wasn't too bad but every subsequent time I went the quality and prices got worse. I can find better things at Dillard's or Belk.
