What will July Honor? Last year it was Asian Americans? We need a month to honor Native Americans or better yet a day for them that’s not filled with hate (like Thanksgiving) for them. I was hoping for June 25—the date they defeated George A. Custer at the Battle of the Little Big Horn in 1876. Some tribes call it Victory Day. They won the Battle (and the Battle of the Rosebud too) but lost the war. The Native People did gain some respect out of it from the population.
