Yes, few people could lie and promote communism with the gravitas of Walter Cronkite.
Hope he makes peace with God. He’s not exactly one of my favorites.
Thats the way it was.
It is appointed man once to die, and after that the judgement.
One of a kind COMMIE TRAITOR ONE WORLDER MOLE.
His greatest stunt was selling himself as “the most trusted voice in America,” when he was shilling for world govt. sub rosa all along, as he now freely admits.
Traitor bastard did more to lose the VN war for us than any other individual. LBJ quit when he heard Cronkite’s statement after Tet, about losing the war.
TRAITOR BASTARD, I’d piss on his grave.
When mommy warned us as little kids of the dangerous stranger I always pictured him
No comment as well.
This man in my opinion actively worked to bring down the Republic. I will not be saddened by his death.
“Yes, few people could lie and promote communism with the gravitas of Walter Cronkite”
The bastard used his credibility to lose the Viet Nam war and make the sacrifice of millions of Americans meaningless.
He was the most successful of all communists moles.
Ditto.
When I was very young I thought he was wonderful. I’m sorry to hear that he is ill.
A couple of years ago AARP did a puff piece on the guy.
They had to admit that they were overwhelmed with criticism of the story. Most despised Uncle Walter in no uncertain terms.
I was working at the register at L.L. Bean many years ago and next customer? Walter Cronkite! He was very gracious and made some small talk about his sail up to Freeport. I engaged him a bit just to hear that voice that I heard so many times on my black and white. I liked him before and I’ve liked him since. Sorry...but I think he is a great American.
He was a good broadcaster of the news, but a really really evil man outside of the 30 minute broadcasts.
God rest his soul, unless he didn’t believe in God, then may he have a place next to Pol Pot and Joey Stalin.
Sounds like he’s going to have a lot to answer for soon enough....
anti-American leftist scum.
I thought he died years ago??
As far as I am concerned, the sooner the bastard dies, the better. The only tears that I shed will be tears of joy. My mourning is for the decent individuals that he caused to get killed.
If the North Vietnamese had not had Cronkite on their side the war there would have ended on a much more pro-American note.
“And that’s the way it was....”
