FDR didn’t dclare martial law, or confiscate weapons. He interned Japanese origin people.
I think too many on the political right are wasting time dreaming up radical scenarios, instead of opposing legislation on topics that have been discussed for years, long before Obama came along.

In comparative terms, the Japanese military was a far greater threat in 1941, than Korea is today, relative to the military and economic strength of the US.
If Obama under-reacts to any military adventurism against the US, he becomes Carter. IMO.

The same useful adaptation is used by North Korea which views Obama giving a green light to Iran nuking Israel and other forms of proliferations.
