I find very moving: A Mighty Fortress is our Lord and Amazing Grace and I am Catholic./Just Asking - seoul62...... Counterexample to the Rock and Roll Instruments, from a couple of contemporary Christian artists.

Or you have Phil Keaggy's rendition of Nothing but the Blood of Jesus
or Amazing Grace on an E-bow (starts at 2:40)
And then you have (as a counterexample to the no rock 'n roll instruments) Matthew Ward again, Psalm 33:3("...play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts")
