The “stimulus” bill worked exceedingly well, serving the purpose for which it was designed, which was to throw the entire economic future of the US into chaos.
This is only a preparatory step, for the next stage, changing the economic system to a fully socialistic model, much like the system of “syndicates” that Mussolini used to make the trains run on time in Italy.
On a much smaller scale, the state of Wisconsin was using a similar application developed in the days of when Progressives held control in the state house, creating a state-funded insurance investment plan, which was supposedly available to every citizen of Wisconsin, but in practice, was largely confined to knowledgeable elected officials and state employees. They were forbidden from ANY form of advertising their program, but they could greatly undersell any commercial forms of insurance, because they did not have to make a “profit”, or pay any commissions. The terms for term or whole-life life insurance, for example, were less than half what any commercial company could offer, but the unwary insured clients could be terminated for trivial reasons, without appeal. Or conversely, the well-connected could collect some really lush benefits, like reinvestments that made the eventual pay-out way out of line with the contributions.

0bama’ stimulus is not working, neither is my Husband working?
According to local media here in Indianapolis, the first shovel ready project to be completed nationwide is a local county airport here in Hamilton Cty that was repaved. They have a big sign in front mentioning the stim program.
The irony in this is the airport is 99% used by “rich” white Republicans for their private and business planes.

You see what happens? Al Franken finally wins (really steals) his election, comes to Washington, and Obamy thinks, "If a (poor) comedian can become a politician, then it stands to reason a politician can become a comedian."
So Obamy tells a funny about the stimulus bill working.
Obamy paused for a second like TOTUS told him, to wait for the laughter, but it never came. Instead of the raucous laughter he and TOTUS expected, the Obamabots believed every word he uttered, just like good Obamabots should.
