I usually pace the O-bots until I get their attention, then make the “L” sign (loser) with my hand in front of my forehead before easing away from them. It may be childish to some, but I’m sure it makes them think about what they have done.
Not only do they still have their Zero bumperstickers around here, but they’ve added a new one that says, “Yes, I do!” Meaning, yes, I support the idiot.
In Austin:
1) I can’t drive a 100 yards without seeing an Obama/Biden bumper sticker
2) I can’t jog at the lake without seeing an Obama tee shirt
3) I can’t pick up a newspaper without seeing an article praising Obama and blaming Bush
4) I can’t have a conversation at a restaurant without an Obama voter present.
5) I can’t get a beer at a bar from a non-Obama voter bartender.
.....the best thing about this situation is if we have another civil war, I know who my enemies already are!!
“Just ordered 10 IMPEACH OBAMA bumper stickers yesterday !”
I’ve got some “FUBO” stickers, but around here they’d torch my truck. Maybe at some point in the future.
I just give them “the” salute. Funny, I never see a bumper sticker with Biden’s name on it, only zer0’s
Excellent, Scott!
Yea, I usually just shake my head and wonder.
Unless it's particularly dangerous, I make it a point to pass any vehicles with an Obama sticker on them. If I'm driving my older vehicle, it gives them a chance to savor my "FUBO" sticker. :-)
You're surrounded. You could shoot accurately in any direction!
ditto! Then I shak my head and wonder why such an idiot is allowed to drive
Just who is “ they “?
I have never put a bumper sticker on any of my cars or trucks for just that reason. Once your car has broke into or vandalized, you learn quickly that cars can't defend themselves against everyone.
Yesterday as I was starting my motorcycle a woman with an Obama and Franken bumper sticker parked near me. I asked her if she was ashamed of supporting both of them yet. Note: The people that STILL have the bumper stickers on are hard core lefties. They will never EVER admit to a mistake. I told her MN now has a clown for a Senator and the nation has a President that can’t get anything right. She just stormed off.
Enjoyed it.
But that’s Austin. The other classic bumper sticker says something about keeping Austin wierd. Once you get out of the bubble, as in the hill country or just about anywhere in Texas other than Austin, things are different.
Hi Cast Not,
People will fight harder to perserve their self image than life itself. To rethink your opinions means to recast your very self image. There is also the problem of "confirmation bias", (Freepers are not immune), the tendency to accept information that reinforces our preconceived notions and reject information that tends to refute them.
Obama clearly has a certain superficial appeal, as does most of the liberal aggenda. The fact that Obama is shallow, vain and weak man must come as disappointment to his supporters, but the facts are there for anyone to see. Coming to grips with the fact that there is no Santa Clause, that big government solutions invariably create more and worse problems than they ever solve is called maturity.
I salute every car / pickup that has a Ø sticker as well. I saw one of those "Texans for obamba" stickers on the back of a Prius, but someone had stuck the letters SUCK right behind Ø's name. I'd like to get some of these and stick them over the Ø stickers:
Cheney - Bolton 2012
This is why I love Freepers. Now I know I’m not the only one who has to suppress the desire to run a Obama clad Prius off the road with my Suburban. I’ve wanted to get a sign for the side of my truck that sez “O is a socialist and U R an Idiot”.
BTW- I saw one of those McCain/Palin stickers the other day that had the McCain name slice off the top leaving only Palin. Gave them a thumbs up!
