Lord willing Obamacare died tonight. Obamessiahs SCAM WOW no news no specifics one hour waste of time performance tonight killed any hopes of passage. The man is clearly out of his mind promoting delusions of socialist health care grandeur with no SPECIFICS, no plan, no way of paying for it and government lackey bureaucrats in Washington in control of all of our PRIVATE medical records making arbitrary life and death medical decisions based upon their idea as to who should live or die" Granddad and Grandma are too old for a hip replacement, too old for a pace maker, take a pain pill, lie down shut up and DIE! Oh, Susie, a mother of four has cancer, TOO COSTLY to treat, take a pain pill, lie down, shut up and DIE!

The American public is finally waking up to the fact that the SHAM WOW, SCAM WOW president who has no legit birth certificate is nothing but a glorified anti-American Marxist Socialist who HAS NO CLOTHES!

Never mind his attempt to ignite a race war and his slanderous claim against medical physicians.

A very good assessment. Obama very clearly and repeatedly refused to engage any of the difficult issues. He simply would not address the sticking points, just blandly reassured us that somehow he would take care of us peasants with healthcare for all at no extra cost. Just trust him.

He was not at all convincing, and his real audience—the wavering democrat congresscritters—were not likely to come away comforted.

I see tonight’s over-reach train wreck as a twofer.

First it assign the death warrant to the Failed Government takeover of the Medical Industry AND it destroys the phony media orchestrated “image” he had as being a smart, intellectual, god-like being of perfection.

Excerpt:

Obama obviously still has an immature, thin skin for someone in public office. He simply can't get over the fact that Republicans are telling the truth about this proposed disaster for our nation and its finances, and he seems to think S.C. Senator Jim DeMint wants the healthcare proposal to fail 'just so Obama can meet his Waterloo.'

What a joke. That response is not one of an adult but of an adolescent who never grew up. Obama claims 'this is not about me,' yet when anyone criticizes it, it suddenly becomes 'all about him...'

The slam against doctors and nurses really made my blood boil! I’ve worked around MDs and RNs for over 30 years and have seen the dedication to patient care. Sure, I’ve seen a very few who probably shouldn’t have gone into the profession in the first place, but each and every profession has those types of people.

I’ve also seen what happens to patient care when it is taken out of the provider’s hands by “The Rules Which Must Be Followed”. Govt run healthcare is a recipe for disaster.

And Obama is an idiot.

This is WONDERFUL. Thank you for posting this.

Obama claims 'this is not about me,' yet when anyone criticizes it, it suddenly becomes 'all about him.'

So well said and spot on.

Obama seemed mad, agitated, distracted.

The rage of narcissism.

The writeup ( and more importantly, the "comments" section, which reflects the opinions of real people, not media jackals ) of Gateway Pundit are telling:

Dear Leader Seeks Support For Nationalizing Health Care... Demonizes Doctors

Dear Leader went before the American people to urge them to hand over health care to the government tonight.
Taking over the banks and the car industry was not enough for "The One."
The AP reported:

Six months in office, President Barack Obama sought to rally support for sweeping health care legislation Wednesday night as Congress struggled to find agreement on a historic overhaul. He vowed to reject any measure "primarily funded through taxing middle-class families."

At a prime-time news conference, Obama defended his decision to set a midsummer deadline for the House and Senate to act, even if it isn't met. "I'm rushed because I get letters every day from families that are being clobbered by health care costs, and they ask me can you help," he said.

The stakes are huge not just for everyday Americans, but also for Obama, who is putting much of his credibility on the line to gain congressional passage. His stepped-up public role comes as he faces rising criticism from Republicans, sliding public approval ratings and divisions within his party. Obama acknowledged that many people are uneasy about growing federal budget deficits and the fast-rising government debt.

He said that without a deadline for action, a recent proposal to curtail the growth in Medicare costs would not have materialized "until who knows when." He said in the past few days, leaders in both houses had agreed to incorporate it into legislation taking shape.
PJTV is holding an Obamacare forum tonight.

Consider this an Obamacare open thread.
