If they do that, you can refile the request with the Office of information and they will determine if the request is a legitimate one.
And they will have to provide you answers/judgement why it is not legitimate citing law/statute.
It would be tough to invent lawsusually that takes some time (bureaucratic red tape) to change the law to suit their needs.
I don’t have a problem with your idea at all. I think it’s a good one. But saying the deomcrat officals “have to” follow the law is where the disconnect is for me. They’ll almost certainly stonewall and ignore for as long as possible and try to win through stubbornness and getting us to give up.
I guess we’ll see what happens in 10 days.
