I totally disagree. The Democrats have overwhelming majorities on both chambers and nothing has passed since the stimulus and that’s what created the tea parties. Do you think that the overwhelming amount of calls, emails, and faxes had anything to do with the Senate not taking up cap and trade? Do you think the overwhelming response to the health care debate had anything do with the Dems not voting before the break? In fact, the movement has accomplished plenty.

You are wrong.
Politicians do CARE about the intensity of public views.

If the majority in the poles supported ObamaCare, but a vocal minority opposed Obamacare at these meetings, that would have politicians a little worried, due to the intensity factor: The ANTI vote will be very strong!

However, the poles are AGAINST ObamaCare, so the politicians are very, very worried about the intensity of a majority, now!

The message that must be sent to all politicians via the Tea Parties, emails, calls, demonstrations, Townhall meeting protests, etc., is:

“Any Senator or Congressman that signs the Death Bill, etc., is TOAST.” They will not be re-elected if we have to go door to door, city by city, state by state. All these slimes care about is power and re-election. Make it very clear that they’re through. START PACKING NOW. Their arrogance, corruption, and disregard for the Constitution is reprehensible and our basis for throwing them out.

At times such as this, I think of this old song from the 60s called: “The Times They Are A Changin”. It was sung by Bob Dylan, but there are a number of good covers. The message in it could fit this situation! The complete versions can be found on You Tube for reference.

“Come senators, congressmen
please heed the call.
Don’t stand in the doorway,
don’t block up the hall.
For he that gets hurt will be he
that has stalled,
there’s a battle outside and it’s ragin’.”

by Bob Dylan
