I also note the post by Mukraker where he/she says there are 18 states, including my own that do allow for a recall of congessmen. I'll check that out and if it's correct I'm gonna ask for my money back for my Parties and elections class that I took. But what can I say? I went to a liberal State school.

Take heart. It took me about 8 years to unlearn what I was taught during 3 years as a PoliSci major at UW schools.

It may be correct but it is irrelevant to what happens in Congress. Congress can constitutionally take such “petitions” and replace the toilet tissue in the bathrooms with them. This is a complete sideshow demonstrating ignorance of the Constitution.

Even the dumbest Cow College in the country knows there is no recall of federal elected officials.

Certainly Congress can be petitioned to expell members but there is no authority over a federal legislator outside the Constitutionally prescribed methods.

Executive and Jucicial can be impeached and convicted and Legistative can be expelled by the body concerned.
