I read this post quickly and didn’t see my point made, so I’ll note it here. GEICO with it’s cute, disgusting little lizard is an acronym.
Parsing it out, it is “General Electric Insurance Company;” if you watched O’Reilly tonight, you know the crap GE is up to and who it worships. The head of GE is Jeffrey Immelt.
Boycott them and all they make!

Eh sorry it is GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES INSURANCE COMPANY...not much better, but it is not GE...
The Government Employees Insurance Company, usually known by the acronym GEICO, is an American auto insurance company. GEICO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
It used to insure only government employees including the Military.
No. You are wrong.
Wiki:
“The Government Employees Insurance Company, usually known by the acronym GEICO, is an American auto insurance company. GEICO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway . . . “
I’m all for boycotting those who pull ads from Beck’s program, but let’s get the facts straight. GEICO has nothing to do with GE.
I’ve read that GEICO stands for “Government Employees Insurance Company.” Or maybe that’s what it used to mean. Is that an urban legend?
No, it's not. It's Government Employees Insurance Co. They started out, obviously, as an insurer for government employees.
Nothing to do with GE. It started out as GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES’ Insurance COmpany. And their MAIN thrust to this day is military folks and (un)Civil Service.
