My prediction.....next year at this time Y.E. Yang will be a distant memory and Tiger will be within in 1 or 2 of Jack’s majors and have passed him in overall wins.
If anyone wants to make a bet, I will give them three golfers of their choice and I get Tiger. At the end of 12 months we add up the wins, any takers?

I have a feeling Tiger will be okay (understatement of the year).Somehow I have trouble seeing him ever qualifying for food stamps. If ya catch my drift. ;-)

Very glad to hear that someone finally didn’t wilt against Tiger. Hopefully, he won’t win next year either.

No putting dweeb was finally exposed. Ive said for years that if Tiger putted like me, nobody would have ever even heard of the guy.How do you think *you'd* stack up against him...one on one...at,say,Augusta? 72 holes.Whaddya think?
Dweeb? Pfffft!

Perhaps, but when the “best golfer in the world” is up after three rounds and then shoots a +3 on the final day that’s a choke in my book.
At this level only the most seasoned champions are able to hold it together - of which Tiger is one. It’s not bad luck and it’s not that he’s losing anything off his talent - he just choked.
I was glad to see an underdog win and for the media to realize Tiger is human.

If Micheal Jordan had my jumpshot, athleticism, drive, and competitiveness nobody would have ever heard of the guy!

My favorite moment of the tournament was when Paddy Harrington scored an 8 on a par 3 hole. That's the way I'd have played it and it does my heart good to see a top pro come down to my level once in a while.

But at least if you play at your level, it doesn’t cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Tiger appears to have muscled up. Has anyone attributed this to his putting woes?
Putting is the first thing that goes
Both Snead and Hogan could still play better than any on the tour from Tee to Green when they hit 40 but their putting game went bad
Nerves get you as you age
This may be a one time thing for Tiger or he may be on the age cusp

It was one tournament, he got 2nd .. again.
It has happened before and will again.
I feel for Padraig, he has a ball-cleanliness fetish, washed his ball what , 3 times on 8? wow.

Sometimes it just happens.

I'm no golf fan, but if I were I wouldn't want one guy winning every tournament. Tiger has done magnificently and, although he has thrown hissy fits in the past when losing, he seems to have reacted in a sportsman like manner to his loss, a sign of greater maturity.
How boring would it be if every time he went out he won, people would get so they didn't ever watch and other players wouldn't sign up to play.
One loss, or several losses, does not a career make.
