The “demonize” Onadacare opponents is in full swing. My local paper ran six “letters to the editor” today. Four of them were pro-Obamacare. The theme in each one is that Conservatives hate. They pointed to Onada signs with Hitler moustaches, weapons being brought to town meetings, a sign that allegedly read “Michelle and her stupid kids should be killed” as evidence of their point—and so forth. And, of course, we’ve been hearing from dem pols, and their media shills, for two weeks that conservatives want Onada dead.

We now know that the “joker” poster of Onada was perpetrated by a Demrat. And we know there is absolutely no proof of any conservative wanting Onada or his wife/kids dead. For all we know all these inappropriate signs are simply the work of demrat operatives. Conservatives understand that killing Onada or his family would make a martyr of him. That is the last thing we want.

I live in NJ. Are freepers in other states seeing similar “demonize conservative” campaigns?

I don't know if it works quite as effectively as it used to. Ofcourse, the Northeastern quadrant of the country has been reared on the idea that republicans are evil so turning them around isn't an easy task.

No one reads newspapers anymore, really. Sean Hannity and Bill O'reilly's ratings are off the charts. People rely more and more on the internet for their news or commentary.
