No it’s not accurate, because he has delegated authority to these third-rate ideologues, some of whom I wouldn’t trust to collect my trash, let alone run part of my country. A self-respecting czar wouldn’t do that. If you want to argue that he thinks HE is the czar, I would agree with that analysis. Sort of like those pathetic “scholars” who claim their ancestors were the Egyptian pharaohs. My most recent diagnosis of BO is, in fact, megalomania.
I guess I just have never really believed he's in charge of anything, so I attribute it all to the machine behind him. He has no leadership background, he was AWOL in both the state and federal legislature positions he occupied (for an extremely short time), and the machine behind him has no interest in anyone changing it's agenda for him. So I don't see him "leading" anything.
Which, of course, has nothing to do with his what I believe you rightly label megalomania. I guess it enables him to front whatever he's told to front, and still sleep well at night.
