Some of the liberal/progressive/Democrats/radical/enviro-radicals are child-like in their positions.
They don’t understand the nuances or complications of certain issues.
With the whole global warming thing, for example, they say we have a planet to save. To them, we should do anything and everything to reduce carbon output, even if it hurts the economy, raises energy costs, and throws people out of work. In their child-like reasoning, no cost is too great to “save” mother earth.
And they look at things in black/white ways. For example, if you oppose gay marriage, you are homophobic, no nuances or qualifications of positions permitted. If you oppose affirmative action or the means of implementing any such policies, you are racist, end of story. If you express concern about some of the filth on TV and movies (even some basic cable channels), you are told that you are in favor of censorship and get lectured about the 1st amendment.
In their view, most religions and organizations like the Boy Scouts are worthless because they oppose open homosexuality. They are “homophobic” and by definition in their view, cannot and have never done anything worthwhile for society.
I’m sure there are other examples of liberal intolerance. But I think some of it stems from a child-like black-white zeal to re-make the world into some sort of utopia.
It’s like a Christian who likes it quiet but a passenger liberal starts singing a strange tune.
Liberals do not realize they are the satan bible thumping “dumbtards”. They say it is human nature and impose it like animals. They have no respect and continuously like to test any act of forgiveness.
