Well, there you have it.
Yet, conservatives cling to the foolish notion that government schools can be reformed (if only **they** controlled the schools).
STOOOPID CONSERVATIVES! ( Yes, I am shouting!)
1) Any government powerful enough to impose a conservative political, cultural, and religious worldview on the nation's children is powerful enough to impose a communfascist worldview on theirs.
2) And...Conservatives consistently fail to see that just by attending a government school, this act alone teaches a child to be a socialist ( regardless of the worldview of the school!). The moment a child steps one foot in his kindergarten he learns that the government has the police power to take money from his neighbor to pay for a service that his parents want for free.
It is a short step from accepting schooling paid for by his neighbor to accepting other benefits paid through force from his neighbor: retirement benefits, disability, medicine, ICU care, entertainment, transportation, home heating oil, housing, food, clothing,...etc.
3) Communfascism is our nation's **MOST** serious threat! Schools have always been one of the communfascist's most important weapons. Aren't the quotes that you posted clear enough? Yet, conservatives fail year after year to understand the threat that our government schools pose to our very existence as a nation!
4)From their very beginning the goal of those proponents of state compelled government schools was, and continues to be, socialist indoctrination. The goal of the government schools from their inception in the mid 1800s to the beginning of the 1900s was to create a pliable worker for the fascist state!
I am afraid that it is likely too late to save our nation. Homeschooling has not grown fast enough. Conservatives have NOT worked to set up tuition-free conservative schools so that every child in the nation could have access to a conservative education. Conservatives have not worked in any serious way to shut down the government K-12 indoctrination camps.
Too many conservatives do NOT know that state compelled government education really is a relatively recent idea. In my county, for instance, our government school high school is celebrating its 100 year anniversary. Until the beginning of the 1900s ( after my father and mother were born!) state compelled government education was not universally enacted into every state's law!
In my county until the 1950s and 60s there were still plenty of grandparents and parents who **personally** knew the people who broke the sod, hacked out the trees, and built the primitive bridges and roads for the first time in this county. While these people were alive, teaching their values in the home, and staffing the compulsory state school, the damage of having socialist schools was minimized. These people are dead now, and the full force of the damage of socialist government schools is now being seen.
So?....Perhaps our nation's children could survive the socialist lessons taught by attending taxpayer funded schools in the first half of this century. These children still had enough members alive in their families to keep them grounded in our nation's founding principles, but not any longer.
