A mild-mannered Bush Appointee seems to have saved Honduras from a Obama-Chavez thugocracy.
Tegucigalpa -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has granted $150 million to Honduras, ignoring the international community's calls to increase sanctions against the regime currently usurping power in that country.
$150 million happens to be almost precisely the amount that Hillary Clinton and the U.S. State Department has been threatening to withhold, according to Reuters.
The hero of the moment seems to be, mild mannered Meg Lundsager, who was sworn in as Executuve Director of the IMF after the no confidence (sham) vote against Paul Wolfowitz in 2007. (more).

Good. Meg did the right thing.
Big Time Hero!! We need to stand against tyranny and support those that do as well. Obama and Hillary on the wrong side hope that is not a pattern but fear it is.
Go Meg Go, stick it to the commies!
Freedom thanks you Meg. On behalf of my children I thank you.
... And God placed a certain person ...
I for one will keep an eye out for the Hecho en Honduras label
Woo HOO!! Right on. You go, Girl!!! Oh yes she di-ud!!
Thank you Meg for your courage and thank you President Bush for your prescience!
I hope the aid is beyond the reach of the Fascist in the White House and that any further transfers are handled in a way that Obama and the US Treasury cannot block them.
Excellent. U.S.State Dept gets schooled! Best news of the day.
Thank you, Meg!

Thank you, Meg for your courage to do the right thing. You are a true American standing up for liberty!
I was looking at the executives of IMF and Timothy Geitner is on one of the boards, I think the governing board.
I think on my next vacation I will be dumping some US tourism $$$ in Hoduras. I highly recommend Honduras for a vacation spot. The people are wonderful and if you are into diving or beautiful beaches, the Bay Islands are a great spot. There are also Mayan ruins through out the country
That isn't good. I hope the Obama Administration doesn't try and engineer a no confidence vote. Obama and his co-conspirators don't take opposition well.
Before people get carried away and start singing hosannas to the IMF, be aware that the organization has given money to “thugocracies” time and time again in the past.
Start keeping an eye now because maybe in a few days that label could be banned from the US by ObaMarx! (commercial sanctions)
