This is a little old but I thought it was interesting.I wonder if Boren or any of the others may jump parties? Any one from there want to guess.

I don't want them to jump parties, but these are exactly the Democrats that Palin would target per her Independent Conservative Movement.

The Left is destroying the Democrat party just like they did in the 1980s before the phony DLC gave them cover.

Boren could replace Pelosi as speaker tomorrow if the Blue Dogs would all approach the Republicans and vote together on the issue.

The touble is that only one-third of the blue dogs are genuinely moderate to conservative. These would be people like Walt Minnick of Idaho and Gene Taylor of Mississippi. They will generally vote with conservatives at least 40-60% of the time.

Another third are situational blue dogs. They might vote with conservatives on hot button issues for their district, but they are still going to vote with Obama 70-80% of the time. These are people like Boren and Colin Peterson of Minnesota.

Another third aren't blue dogs at all. They just wear the label and spout the rhetoric once in awhile. But they are bought abd paid for by George Soros. These are people like Jason Altmeyer of SW Pennsylvania. They will vote with conservatives generally less than 15% of the time.

Give this enough time and there will be a wholesale stampede away from Zero. I really don't want to see them move to the GOP, but they can't follow blindly or they will be creamed in 2010.
Reid and Pelosi will find no matter how much money they throw at the elections it's a finger in a dike.

The GOP will pick up 40-50 seats in the House in 2010. I expect 1/4 to 1/3 of those will be due to defections.
