In my opinion, 1) The Left hates Western Civilization and all its products, and will support any and all of its enemies; 2) The Left perceives Muslims as gullible and as being easier to manipulate and control than traditionally and historically free peoples. For that matter, this is how the Left perceives recent Hispanic immigrants, and why it is courting them with promises of freebies for all.
The left is in for the shock of their lives if they think that they are going to control the Islamic community.
